How about a BBQ?

We'd thought it would be nice (since I have a saturday off for once) to throw a casual Party at our house. No rhyme nor reason, but because we can.

We are going to make this one a Potluck. We'll provide a bunch of chicken and hot dogs for food and all the root beer you can drink (although we do also have an interesting supply of alcoholic libation). Everyone else is encouraged to bring something along that will round out the menu.

Chances are high but not definite that I will be entertaining a friend from overseas that day. He's cute and smart -- *if* we managed to be in your neighborhood around late afternoon, would he be welcome? I know you like cute and smart people. Otherwise (eg if he ends up busy, which could happen) I'll check my availability based on some nebulous, "probable but not sure" other absolute obligations that day, which leaves me a solid "maybe."
