Its gotten to that point.

I had to bust out the "really fat" underwear...the "fat" underwear has sufficed for most of this pregnancy. But they are starting to cut off blood supply to my legs.

Joe made me feel better by pointing out that I wore these for the majority of the girls pregnancy...and that I still had the next size up. Considering I'm down to the last few weeks...makes sense that I'd need bigger panties.

I can't wait to get back into all the really cute ones that I bought about 2 weeks before I got pregnant. Should take...a week post-partum or so. This is taking into consideration that:
A. I'm about 8 lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight.
B. I should lose approximately 15-16 lbs in the first 24 hours post-partum.

I LOOOOOOOVE watching the baby weight literally melt off. Wish it was always that easy.

You might not want to get the cute underpants out again, if you're not planning on having more kids. The cause-and-effect is quite clear, I think.

On demand, round the clock nursing is an excellent birth control...

Then I go back on the pill at week 6. =) Right after getting the Essure implanted.

Not to be argumentative, but I've personally know way the fuck too many women with Irish twins whose doctors or mothers or somebody told them "round the clock nurcing is an excellent birth control." Just sayin'.

There's the mini-pill, which has to be taken at the same time everyday, but doesn't mess with milk and is at least a back up.

It works for most women, but you're right, not all. And the key is on demand...not that scheduling thing that some people try.

Oh, and co-sleeping. Having a baby latched onto your boob for most of the night while you sleep really and truly interrupts that whole being fertile thing.

Ah yes, gotta love being fat and pregnant. Seems pregnancy is the only time I ever loose weight. To bad nursing makes me hungry like a teenage boy having a growth spurt.

WOW I can't believe you are so far along, fat panties or not, that's SOOO exciting!

Its pretty scary too...I don't know if this one is going to be a sleeper or not! I'm looking forward to it...just so I can meet my new little guy...but I'm really not looking forward to the not sleeping thing. =)

(Believe it or not, I got more sleep with the twins than I did with Ike...scary thought no?)
