So a couple of weeks ago I saw an ad in one of the giveaway magazines at the Y. Stanford was looking for pregnant women currently suffering depression for a study looking at the effectiveness of either acupuncture or massage in elevating depression symptoms. Coolness! I called the number. I went through a 30 minute phone interview, which I passed. Then last thursday I went through a 2.5 hour interview. Which I found out yesterday I passed! So I've been accepted for the study. Yea, now maybe something can get better.

Only downer? I can't get outside therapeutic massage as it will throw off the study. Which sucks. But free treatment is free treatment. If I can help another pregnant chick from feeling the way I'm feeling now, its a good thing.

Bummer that I can't work with you while you're doing this, but yay you for being a guinea pig in the name of science! I hope it helps you.

I'd still love to be on hand for labour and delivery and for wrangling Ike when the time comes.
