Swiped Meme!

1. Which languages do you know? How did you learn them (e.g. natively, from classes, by immersion)?
English (native), Mumblish (Joe’s, Ike’s and Dad’s native language) I’ve forgotten enough Latin to read my missal, I can mumble my way through some spanish. I can look really silly speaking ASL. I know how to cuss out a waiter, order food and find the bathroom in greek.

2. Which language would you most like to learn? Why?
ASL. ‘cause its cool! The Signing Time videos I’ve gotten from Ike have given me a taste of what I don’t know. I hate that.

I’d also like to pick up Italian, as it is the prettiest of the Romance languages IMNSHO

3. Have you visited any places where you did not know the predominent language? If so, which ones? Was it hard to manage?

Well, I have been to Texas & I managed eventually.

4. Which language do you most enjoy hearing, seeing, or expressing? Why?
ASL ‘cause its cool & Italian ‘cause it sounds pretty


5. Which languages, other than the one(s) you know, are you exposed to your daily life?
Not many unless you count Toddler.
