Well now there goes my vacation!

I have been looking forward to the IAGSDC convention for (it seems) months. I made arrangements for not only my mother, but another friend to come along and corral the kids. At first I just wanted to get some dancing in. Lately I've been looking forward to sleeping. (I've gotten my hands on some sleeping pills, not that I  currently need them, but I figured that I could use them on the trip so I could sleep close to 20 hours a day to catch up a bit) I just got off the phone with my friend. She's got Mono. Shes not coming.

So not only am I not going to get any rest on this trip ('cause no one in their right mind wants to be left alone with all three of my kids), I won't get much dancing in and I won't be able to get my tattoo (which I've already put the $100 non-refundable this is my appointment time security deposit).

Needless to say, I'm really, really upset. Man can I ever hear the universe laughing at me now.

And to top it off, Ike's asleep, but the girls aren't. No rest for the weary.
