Something that comes into my mind during situations such as these is, "Be the change that you want to see in the world." If we want to not be nervous about breastfeeding in public because of stares and others' ignorance, than we should do it so much that it becomes the norm. We may not have the money that formula companies have to promote bottles and formula being the norm, but we do have the numbers of women who breastfeed in public to help promote the way babies were meant to be raise. |
I just thought this was so well stated, I wanted to remember this for future reference.
