I once pulled two consecutive all-nighters, when I was working on my Ditch Day stack.
The part that makes my blood run cold about that in retrospect was when, on the second morning, I was standing on the very edge of the roof of Beckman Biology, hauling stuff up from the ground with a rope -- and now that I think about it, it was Joe on the ground helping me get things set up.
Normally heights make me uncomfortable enough that I don't go near the edge of roofs that have no railings; but after two nights without sleep, I was too punchy to care. Which of course made dancing on the edge of a rooftop just a really excellent idea; but God looks after fools and madmen...
