I've been busy.
I'm further along now than last week...and its shaping up nicely.
Here's a couple of pics.
This is my first finish for 2008. This is "blah" by Monsterbubbles. I used the recommended Thread Gatherer's Silk 'N Colors fibers, but changed the fabric from an R&R to Silkweavers Cinnamon Roll. This turned out quite nicely, I started it on Dec 20 and I finished it on my Mom's Weekend Away. I had to use the flash to get a good pic, so it looks a bit washed out.

That same Mom's weekend away I started another project. This is "Swirley Sampler" by Bent Creek. I kept exactly one Week's Dye Works fiber from the list of supplies. I exchanged the Light Cap R&R for Silkweavers Reflections Enchantment. Since its a blue, almost all of the colors had to be changed. I also went to a solid DMC for the largest bits. There's not much to see. The quarter is there to give size. It supposed to be stitched over 2 on 28 Ct fabric. I'm stitching it over 1 on 20 Ct.
