Oh no, he's known for years. In fact my ex warned him that I was seriously mentally unbalanced and in definite need of major psychological help.

It's not a revelation. I just followed the rule not to be with anyone more unstable than myself. Maybe Jen should have, but I appreciate her failure of judgment.

Of course, with the kids and the lack of sleep, she's pulling closer to parity...
